Leadership Minor: Field Experience

After completing LEAD 3961, students can enroll in LEAD 3971. In this third, project-based course, students have the opportunity to apply the theories and concepts learned in previous courses while working with a mission-based community organization. This course focuses on key concepts of adaptive leadership and issues identified by the local community. Students will explore self and organizational dynamics through their field project, including personality, values, beliefs about success, failure, and authority, and issues of equity and purpose. They will practice Observation, Interpretation, and Intervention in an organizational setting. Students officially declare the Leadership Minor during this course.
