Summer Slow Down: Why Leaders Need a Hammock

Believe it or not, summer is finally here in Minnesota.  How are you spending these precious three months? If you are a student, maybe you are working multiple jobs, completing an internship, taking classes, or spending time with your family. If you work on a college campus, you might be teaching, revising curriculum in preparation for the fall, or tackling the “summer projects” list that always seems so realistic and attainable when it is written in the middle of the academic year. Whatever your summer plans entail, I hope that part of it includes self-care, rest, relaxation, and a hammock.
